Chloroprene Rubber (CR)

In the adhesive industry as raw materials or as modifiers for adhesives and sealants, CR can give the adhesive more flexible bond lines, better wetting and tackiness, can improve impact resistance or may act as a viscosity modifier and toughener. CR can be used to produce shoe glue, contact adhesive, spray adhesive, which is widely used in shoe industry, fabrication of mattresses, furniture production, construction, automobile decoration,etc

1.Fast crystallizing: (SN24  SN244X)

Fast crystallizing are giving contact adhesives with high initial strength, high final strength and rapid bond formation, These adhesives are especially useful in industries with fast production cycles like the shoe industry. Due to the high initial strength production processes folowing the bonding step can be done at once. The joined substrates can be handled immediately, without waiting for the final setting of the adhesive.

2.Medium fast crystalizing: (SN 23*T)

In cases where high initial bond strength is not needed (e. g. flooring or roofing) the medium fast crystalizing can be used. They prolong the open time of the adhesives, enhancing processing reliability and give a softer, more flexible bond line. The medium fast crystalizing can be used both on their own or in combination with fast crystalizing. Additionally the blending of grades of different viscosity is without problem, allowing the formulation of an adhesive with well-fiting viscosity and crystallization for the distinct application.

Thanks to its excellent set of properties, CR is being used for the production of highly stressed rubber articles in many sectors, primarily in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, plant construction, ship-building, mining and mineral oil production.

CR Latex compounds exhibit high initial adhesive strength, excellent film formation rate and high cohesive strength without curing. They also are highly resistant to weathering and ozone,  have moderately good resistance to degradation from chemical, heat, oils, gasoline or a variety of environmental exposure. It is suitable for quick coagulation of spraying, flexible cement, asphalt, impregnated products, film-coated adhesives, dipped products, foamed sealing materials, industrial coatings. It may also mixed with natural rubber or other synthetic rubber latex.
